Foster Care Information Meeting.

Free and Open to the Community

Tuesday, October 17, 5:00 p.m. | Virtual Group Meeting

Are you interested in becoming a foster parent? Geauga County Job & Family Services is always looking for caring and committed individuals willing to provide a safe, temporary home for children and teens whose parents are unable to care for them.

During a Foster Care Information Meeting, we explain the process of becoming a foster parent, discuss the wide variety of children who need foster care, and give potential foster parents an idea of what to expect once they become licensed. This is an excellent opportunity for attendees to start building a support community and to ask questions about the foster care journey.

Information meetings are an optional part of the foster parenting process. You can schedule an individual Foster Care Information Meeting by contacting Allie Hulsmann at allie.hulsmann@jfs.ohio.gov or 440-285-1205
